Lead Cybersecurity Operations Engineer A prestigious company is on the search for a Lead Cybersecurity Operations Engineer. THIS WILL BE A FULL TIME POSITION THAT WILL BE WORKED REMOTE. This person will be responsible for and be an expert with cloud security, cloud deployments and automation, and data analytics solutions. This client needs someone who can do architecture and engineering and has experience with AWS/Azure as well as Splunk. Responsibilities: * Design, build, and operate cyber security controls for the enterprise. * Act as the subject matter expert for one of more of the following areas – cloud security, cloud automation (AWS and Azure) and data analytics (Splunk) * Apply ITIL or other technology management best practices to an enterprise cyber security platform. * Engages with security specialists, enterprise architects and other functional area architects to ensure adequate enterprise security solutions are in place to sufficiently mitigate identified risks, and to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements. * Serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert, assessing the business impact of cybersecurity risks to the enterprise and identifying options and recommendations for mitigating those risks. * Serve as an expert in platform, application, storage, network, virtualization, cloud and mobile security best practices. * Communicate cybersecurity risks and solutions to various technical and non-technical audiences and levels of management. * Develop strong working relationships with and offer continuous assistance and thought leadership to other leaders in the information technology organization. * Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies. * A strong, complete, and working understanding of architecture-level information security and appropriate use enforcement technology solutions. Specifically looking for cloud security experts, cloud deployments and automation, and data analytics solutions. * A strong working understanding of contemporary security theory and application (including vulnerabilities, exploitation techniques and attack vectors). * Strong understanding of systems development life cycle to lead multifunctional projects or initiatives. * Externally recognized information security industry thought leadership and innovation accomplishments desired but not required. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field (or equivalent work experience). * A widely-recognized cyber security technical certification such as GIAC or CISSP is a plus. Certifications in IT areas is strongly recommended. * Minimum 8 years of combined hands-on IT and security architecture development and implementation work experience with a broad exposure to infrastructure/network and multi-platform environments. Requires expert knowledge of security principles, issues, techniques and implications across all existing computer platforms. * Minimum 2 years of experience in information security solution engineering or security service delivery. * Minimum 2 years of leadership experience with planning and managing security implementations and/or leading a team of technical resources. This role will require the management of several (2 to 4) concurrent large-scale enterprise wide information technology capability development projects. * Minimum of two years of systems or application monitoring and logging experience. Experience with SPLUNK is highly recommended.

Our client, a leading provider of Information Security solutions is seeking a PKI Support Specialist, for its Managed PKI and Certificate Authorities service offerings. This is a position will be based in the metro Portland, OR region and will support remote Enterprise, Service Provider and Government Managed Services customers. This role will manage customers PKI and CA deployments remotely as a PKI-as-a-Service offering. Strong preference for candidates experienced in digital certificate management processes, and leading practices, or infrastructure IT background in some or all of the following disciplines: Systems Administration (Windows, Unix OS), Network administration, Active Directory and/or Virtualization

Responsibilities:

Work with customers on Managed PKI and Microsoft Certificate Authorities projects including deployment, migrations, user and admin training, as well as continuing product and service support.
Participate in projects to deploy new PKI applications and services.
Implement all changes to the PKI infrastructure in accordance with standard procedures and change control policies and procedures
Assisting architects in specifying and documenting the needs for the project.
Become the subject matter expert of the firm’s and competitors’ products and cryptographic technology.
Develop plans for projects utilizing the firm’s standards and methodology
Training and presentation of firm’s products or services to customers and staff
Produce necessary deliverables
Assisting the sales teams in development of project opportunities into properly documented projects and deliverables
Liaising with Professional Services and Sales teams,

Education, Experience and Skills requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience technical discipline, or 3+ years of professional work experience in a related field such as Public Key Infrastructure, Infrastructure IT (Systems Administration, Network Administration Windows/Linux OS, Network Administration, Active Directory and/or Virtualization)

5+ years of experience in working in a highly-technical customer-facing role (i.e.: product support, professional services, sales engineer, technical consultant, or similar) with a security technology vendor, Value-Added Reseller, professional services or consulting firm.

Experience in working with PKI (public key infrastructure), Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services, digital signature, data communication and other cryptographic systems.

Candidates with exceptional ADCS (Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services) and PKI skills are encouraged to apply, with a special emphasis on MS-ADCS security components such as Certificate Enrollment Web Services, Certification Authority, Online Responder, Network Device Enrollment Services.

Specific knowledge of Entrust’s family of products particularly desired

Hands-On experience with implementing, configuring and optimizing Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) from leading vendors such as Utimaco, Thales, Gemalto, nCipher or Futurex highly desired.

Suggested Certifications (some NOT ALL of the following): CompTIA Security +, CompTIA Net+, CompTIA A+, CPTE – Certified Penetration Testing Engineer, CEH – Certified Ethical Hacker, IBM DB2, Oracle and MS SQL Server, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Linux, Windows, SSL and HTML/CSS, Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)

Responsibilities:

– Providing technical solutions for our clients regarding network products and services as well as provide customer training.

– Develop and maintain a broad range of knowledge and application, trends and issues as they relate to firm’s products and services.

– Provide Pre-Sales and Post-Sales support through working closely with technical engineers.

– Attend trade shows and provide presentations online and offline.

– Collect feedback and identify technical improvements.

– Developing technical documents and proposals (eg: RFP, RFI, RFQ, BOMs, quotes, etc.)

– Become the point of contact and answer all technical questions regarding proposal, installations, configurations, products and services.

– Work with the sales team introducing solutions and services, customizing solutions for clients’ business and IT requirements, and assisting in identifying opportunities for up-sell and cross-sell.

– 3+ years of technical support.

– 5+ Years of experience with Cloud-based Security (SaaS), Firewalls, IPS, IDS, Endpoint, PKI, encryption, Identity management and access control.

– Strong IP Experience (L4-L7 protocols and services)

– Experience in network security products such as: firewalls, VPN, SSL, network access control (NAC), intrusion detection or intrusion prevention systems (IDS/IPS), web proxies, UTM, anti-virus, anti-malware devices.

– Knowledge of Managed Services, including Security Operations Centers, Managed AV, Managed Firewalls and Managed Device offerings helpful.

– Work with the training department, bringing partners up-to date as required. Lead local customer trainings.

– Experience in providing support for public cloud architecture, remote access solutions, network services (DNS, DHCP, HTTP(S)), and web proxies.
