Lead Global Cyber Security Incident Engineer

*Position is bonus eligible* Prestigious Fortune 500 Company is currently seeking a Lead Cyber Security and Incident Response Engineer. Candidate will be responsible for directing the detailed technical response activities of the incident handling team. This role will lead by forming strong partnerships within the organization and guide their team members by providing vision, strategy, and prioritization to identify and gain efficiencies in the incident handling, incident response, and digital forensics. This role will be the initial point of contact for new technologies that may be needed to enhance services within Global Security Center. Responsibilities: Ownership of the procedural critical incident plan Ownership and maintenance of the incident handling, incident response, and digital forensics training program for Company teams Be a champion for incident handling services and information security including broadening awareness and use of the teams services, education of security best practices, and integration with other business areas. Serve as technical point of contact for new technologies to be used by the Global Security Center teams, with emphasis on incident handling and forensics Work with teams within and outside of information security as needed to provide guidance and oversight of technologies that may need to be used by the personnel of the incident handling, incident response, and digital forensics teams to accomplish their responsibilities Closely support and collaborate with other Cyber Security Operations teams Provide leadership on critical incidents as needed Build strong partnerships with technical teams to promote best practices for incident handing, incident response, and digital forensics within cloud solutions. Position Purpose: Manage, oversee and conduct internal audits, including execution of strategic, financial, operational, compliance and IT risk based audits. Stay abreast of emerging risks and ensure innovative audit techniques are built into audit scope design, audit plans, staff allocation and logistics coordination.
Design, perform and manage risk-based audits, including strategic, financial, operational, compliance and IT audits
Evaluating controls and processes for scalability, effectiveness, efficiency and risk mitigation strategies
Work with Subject Matter Experts on design of recommendations, appropriate controls and operational efficiency/effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements
Manage audit planning, including risk assessment, scope development, review and refinement of audit work programs and staff assignments/logistics
Perform and provide oversight of consulting engagements, including projects requested by management, value
added projects and analysis/review of key areas
Develop draft executive audit reports that summarize audit findings and recommendations to be distributed to senior management
Monitor and report on the status of historical audit findings
Work with Enterprise Risk Management teams to assist in performing continuous risk assessment and aligning with the audit schedule
Serve as a contact for corporate, field, and external auditors regarding auditing and fraud matters or projects. Assist in coordinating audits/projects with external professionals/specialists
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or business related field. 5+ years of public accounting, internal audit, or related operational experience. Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff. Many of our AV Systems Integrator hiring firms are seeking CRESTRON PROGRAMMERS in CHICAGO to service clients in the Metro region.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with AV systems and gained relevant certifications in Crestron Programming, and other programming languages such as AMX, C#, and C++.

This position involves creating code for advanced control and audiovisual systems. Crestron certifications are REQUIRED. AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS or CTS-I) and experience with manufacturer equipment such as Planar, NEC, Cinemassive, Jupiter, Extron, Cisco, and Biamp and Tesira preferred.

SALARY: $90,000 – $120,000 On Target Earnings

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Program, load, troubleshoot and update the software to optimize system performance, in addition to ease of access for non-technical users

Analyze and ensure the security and integrity of all audio and visual systems

Provide technical assistance and resolve related issues for users and personnel

Collaborate with internal assets and support team to ensure customer needs are met

Develop and implement system recovery protocols in the event of destruction of all or part of the system or components

Analyze, test, and implement system and software, ensuring operating system compatibility

Maintain current knowledge of Crestron and Biamp Products, and their applications across a variety of audiovisual equipment, digital signage and video conferencing

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

BS/BA – computer science, computer systems engineering, or related field

At least 3 years of recent experience as a Crestron & AMX Programmer

Crestron Master level Programmer & AMX ACE certifications preferred

Creston DMC-E required

CTS or CTS-I strongly preferred

Keen ability to install, troubleshoot and maintain Crestron & AMX electronic systems

Experience installing and testing code onsite

Experience working with clients in a professional manner

Must be able to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical users

Outstanding oral and written communication skills – clear, direct, detailed.
